Rovaniemi is known as the capital of Lapland, Finland. It is located on the Arctic Circle and notably known as the home of Santa Claus, where the magic of Lapland, arctic nature with excellent services are in the same city.

Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle

Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle are intended for year-round use. The new glass-roofed, arctic view rooms offer a whole new opportunity to experience Lapland’s ever-changing nature while enjoying the comforts of a hotel room. Each igloo has own bathroom with shower. Some of the igloos have private saunas or an extra bedroom (alcove).

Meet the reindeer
Want to become familiar with the ancient Lappish livelihood? Reindeer are also known as Santa’s flying friends! Drive a snowmobile to a local reindeer farm and after a short reindeer sleigh ride, you will receive your very own International Reindeer Driving License. Take part in a special “Crossing of the Arctic Circle” ceremony in a traditional Lappish tepee and receive a Crossing of the Arctic Circle Certificate as a gift to remember. Duration 3hrs.
Huskies adventure
Feel your heart race together with the speeding dogs in pristine winter forest of the Arctic Circle! On this husky safari you get to know your team of the arctic dogs and experience some the actual mushing, dog team handling. After the instruction on driving, we head to the forest with 2 persons sharing one sledge. The distance of the safari is between 12-17 km with a midway break and chance to change the drivers. After the safari we visit the husky kennel and you get to know more about life at the husky farm together with a hot drink and a sweet bite. Duration 3hrs.
