Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus is a modern hotel in the heart of Rovaniemi and offers high quality accommodation, restaurants and conference services. The basic amenities of all room types are: TV, minibar, internet access, safety box, adjustable heating, air-conditioning, electric kettle, ironing board, trouser press, bathtub, shower, hair dryer.
A standard room accommodates maximum of 3 persons. Most of the rooms have separate beds and a sofa which can serve as an extra bed. There are also rooms with double bed. Most standard rooms are facing north and east and some of rooms have a connecting door. The living area of a standard room is 22 sqm.
Superior rooms are bit larger than standard rooms, from 22 to 32 sqm and accommodates maxi-mum 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms have a twin bed, and two extra beds can be made on a sofa. Most of the rooms are facing south or west.

30.12. | Arrival in Rovaniemi
On your first day in Rovaniemi, in the capital of Lapland, you will have private transfer from Rovaniemi airport to your accommodation Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus. Check-in is earliest at 15:00.
Take some time to settle down and enjoy the city view from the hotel’s window. If you wish to go to the sauna and relax after the journey, you can easily enjoy the sweet warmth of evening sauna.
In the evening you get to enjoy a Half Board Buffet Dinner
31.12. | New Year’s Eve
7:00-10:00 Scandinavian buffet breakfast
12:45- 15:15 Husky Safari 10 km
After a short drive from town, you’ll arrive at a husky farm, where these friendly dogs will bark an enthusiastic welcome to you. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instruction on how to control the sleds. Once you return to the farm, enjoy some hot berry juice by an open fire and chat away with the head musher. Includes: program transfers, thermal outfit, guidance in English, husky farm visit, 10km husky safari, information about huskies, hot beverage
You can decorate Christmas trees and enjoy some gingerbread at the hotel. Santa Claus will visit in the evening. Small gift for children from the Hotel and max. one gift/child from the family (reasonable size gift).
In the evening Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus welcomes you to join the New Year’s Eve Gala buffet dinner on the 31st of December.
22:30 – 01:00 Mystical New Year’s Party
At Lapland’s magical border of the Arctic Circle, the festivities will be held for welcoming in the New Year. Fire, ice, darkness, snow, lights, music, dance – create a magical event for the whole family.
The mysterious fortune tellers fuel the atmosphere as the New Year approaches – Santa Claus himself will also pay us a visit! A giant snow disco, snow bars, mighty fireworks display and the spectacular New Year Dance Show definitely conjure up a memorable entirety. Participate in Finnish New Year traditions and get ready to have your fortune told by the tellers. The event will take place by snowy banks of River Ounas, in idyllic winter setting. 8:00 – 11:00 Start the New Year 2020 with delicious Scandinavian buffet breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant.
Free time during the day to explore Rovaniemi on own.
18:00 – 21:00 Aurora Borealis Safari by Snowmobiles
Scan the arctic night sky on a snowmobile looking for the Northern Lights. Experience the Arctic night by driving through the snow-covered forest and on the frozen river. With a little luck, you’ll travel under a bright sky lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way. Sip warm beverages and savor a snack by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and Lapland.
Includes: thermal outfit, guidance in English, snowmobiling 2 person/snowmobile, fuel, traffic in-surance (maximum personal liability €980), snack by the fire, information about Northern lights, hot beverage.
Half Board buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant will be served in the evening

Check-out time is at 11:00 so if you have an afternoon flight there is a complimentary luggage storage at the hotel.
