Aurora Borealis picnic
The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are possible to be observed in the polar zone of the world. Our location on the Arctic Circle gives us the best possibilities to see them. Our guide will drive us out of the city reaching the perfect spot offering us the best open sky vision to enjoy the Lappish picnic hopefully under the Auroras. Transfers by car or bus. Duration: 3 hours. Departure: 20:30, operated daily. Notice: This program can be rescheduled before 16:00 for the more suitable day. Thrill of Speed – 1 h husky safari

Friendly barks of the huskies welcome you to the local farm but as soon as the safari of dogs departs from the farm, the dogs quiet down and start to work. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the sledge ride in silence. Stop for a break in the wilderness and take photos. We drive two persons per team, but there is a possibility to change the driver along the way. The average length of the trail is 10 km, but the weather conditions and the skills of the participants may affect the length of the ride.
Duration: Approx. 2 hours. Notice: Time spent on transfers is not included in the safari duration.

Snow Trail – 2,5 h husky safari

Feel your heart race together with the speeding dogs in pristine winter forest of the Arctic Circle! On this husky safari you get to know your team of the arctic dogs and experience some the actual mushing, dog team handling. After the instruction on driving, we head to the forest with 2 persons sharing one sledge. The distance of the safari is between 12-17 km with a midway break and chance to change the drivers. After the safari we visit the husky kennel, and you get to know more about life at the husky farm together with a hot drink and a sweet bite. Duration: Approx. 2,5 hours. Evening Escape – Snowmobile safari and campfire 3 h

Join us to experience the magic of the northern nature in the evening twilight. Drive through a beautiful winter landscape in snowmobile headlights before stopping for a break in the middle of the pitch-dark forest. While the guide makes a campfire, listen to the stories and facts about the Northern Lights. Enjoy a Lappish snack break and grill sausages on the fire while observing the skies above you. With good luck, we may catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Snowmobiling Quick Spin – 2 h snowmobile experience

This snowmobile adventure offers fantastic opportunity to learn how to master the art of driving a snowmobile. During the safari we stop for a break to enjoy hot drinks and the silence of the wilderness.
Duration: 2 hours. Departure 14:30 daily.
Price: 119 €/adult, 60 €/child 4-14 years. Notice: Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old.

Free cancellation is not possible after prepayment. We recommend that all participants have personal travel insurance valid for the entire duration of the trip, including cancellation coverage.

We reserve the rights to possible price, schedule and program changes. We also reserve the right to a price check for reasons beyond Kon-Tiki Tours’ control, e.g. when the exchange rate, fuel, official or flight tax costs increase.
