Arrival to Kittilä airport (KTT), the flight arrangements by your own. If you need any help with flights, we are happy to help you! Meet & Greet and transfer to your accommodation, check-in.

Northern Lights Campfire 3 h
The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are possible to observe in the polar zone of the world. We will drive out of the village to the best spot for aurora hunting. There we have a lovely picnic Lapland style, hopefully under the Auroras. Transfers by car or bus. Duration: 3 hours. Departure: 20:30.
Includes: Winter clothing, transfers, grilled sausage, pastry, hot drinks, guiding in English
Notice: This program can be rescheduled before 16:00 for more suitable day.

Easy Snowmobile Safari into the Nature 2 h
This snowmobile tour gives you good opportunity to get familiar with the locals’ favourite way of getting around, driving on snowmobile! In the wild we will make a nice break for hot drinks and sweet snacks. Suitable for the whole family! Duration: 2 hours. Departure: 9:30 Friday or Sunday.
Price: 114 €/adult, 85,50 €/child 4-14 years. Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old.
Includes: Winter clothing, transfers, snowmobile instructions and snowmobile safari 2 persons/snowmobile of approx. 1,5 hours, hot drinks, cookies and guiding in English

Snowmobile Safari with Ice Fishing and Outdoor Lunch 5 h
This is a good chance to experience some more snowmobiling and learn a new arctic skill, ice fishing! We drive along frozen waters to a winter fishing spot in the wilderness. Our guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice and to prepare the ice fishing rod and baits. While you try your luck the with the fish, the guide prepares us a delicious outdoor soup lunch on open fire – hopefully accompanied by the catch of the day. With our bellies full we start the snowmobiles and drive back to our starting point.
Duration: 5 hours. Departure: 10:00 Friday or Saturday

Speed and Relaxation with Huskies and Reindeer 2 h
Get a taste of speed and power of active huskies in a big sleigh driven by our guide, you just sit back and enjoy the journey! After 1 km husky spurt, we change to reindeer sleigh ride, smooth and relaxing ride in the snowy arctic nature. Duration: 2 hours. Departure at 12:40 Friday or Saturday.

Includes: Winter clothing, transfers, husky ride of 1 km driven by husky guide, short reindeer sleigh ride, hot drinks and cookies, guiding in English.

Northern Lights Ice Floating 3,5 h
Come and experience the arctic ice floating in the night! Step into the lake, let the calm water carry you and close your eyes…breath in the pure air and feel your mind and body relax. The cold is not an issue as you will be totally protected in our high-quality rescue suit designed for the arctic waters. You will also have your own clothing under the suit, it will not get chilly even in the open 0-degree water and you stay dry. If the weather is clear, the sky will be full of stars! With luck, we get to see the magnificent Northern Lights above and down, reflecting on the water. Duration: 3,5 hours
Departure: 19:30 Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Notice: Minimum height for floating is 120 cm. Transfer time from Levi to floating venue is about 45 min one-way.

Cancelation conditions

Free cancellation is not possible after prepayment. We recommend that all participants have personal travel insurance valid for the entire duration of the trip, including cancellation coverage.

We reserve the rights to possible price, schedule and program changes. We also reserve the right to a price check for reasons beyond Kon-Tiki Tours’ control, e.g. when the exchange rate, fuel, official or flight tax costs increase.

The responsible tour operator is Finnish Oy Kon-Tiki Tours Ltd, which is included in the tour operator register maintained by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (1929/00/Mj Mv) in compliance with all general travel conditions in the tourism industry. Due to the special nature of our trips, exceptional regulations regarding the mode of transport (e.g. reservation and sales conditions for scheduled flights), exceptional accommodation conditions and the special conditions of the travel destination, we also apply special conditions, which the customer receives as an attachment to the trip invoice.
