Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi
Hotel is located in the idyllic log village of Luosto, next to the excellent recreational areas of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. In winter, trails and the ski resort are nearby, and you can purchase lift tickets directly from the hotel. End an energetic day with relaxation in the spa area, complete with hot tubs and pampering treatments. Standard twin room with shower and clothing drying cabinet.

26.12.2025 Friday | arriving to Lapland (D)
Christmas Spirit tour starts with arriving to Rovaniemi, Capital of Lapland with own arrangements. If you need our help on flights, please request via email.
You will be picked-up from the Rovaniemi Airport and drive approx. 1,5 h to Luosto. Check-in to your hotel, just next to the untouched nature in the Pyhä-Luosto national park. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
At the evening you will be delve deep into the science and myths of the Aurora Boralis – and embark on a hunt to see the phenomenon!
This night is all about the Northern Lights. Before the actual hunt for this natural phenomena, you will learn about the Auroras in a multimedia show. A local skilled Northern Lights guide will lead you through ancient beliefs and myths to the latest scientific truth. You’ll also be able to listen to real radio signals from space at the same time as you enjoy nature’s most magnificent light show. Later in the evening, it’s time to start gazing into the sky. Your guide will give you the current Northern Lights forecast and take you to the route leading to Ahvenlampi. On the way, a suitable spot with an open view to the Northern skies will be chosen, ideal for photography. Hot drinks are available by the campfire. Tour includes: guidance in English, hot beverages, information about Northern Lights. Duration 2 h. Don’t forget to bring your own camera.
27.12.2025 Saturday | Reindeer sleight ride (A+D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be welcome to experience a truly memorable reindeer slight ride! This safari takes you deep into the Lappish wilderness, where you’ll learn facts about traditional reindeer husbandry from a genuine reindeer herder. Relax by enjoying a hot berry juice around a campfire and learn about the intriguing life of reindeer and their herders. Tour includes: thermal outfit, guidance in English, reindeer farm visit, reindeer sleigh ride, hot beverage, information about reindeer and reindeer herding, program transfers.
Return to the hotel and you might enjoy the nature on your own, take extra excursions or take a spa moment at the hotel. Dinner is served at the hotel.
28.12.2025 Sunday | Snowmobiling (A+D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Snowmobiling is fun way to get to the heart of the nature – and back! During this safari, you’ll learn how to ride a snowmobile along frozen rivers and through snow covered forests. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river valley from the hilltops. A break with hot beverages will keep your motor running. Tour includes: thermal outfit, guidance in English, snowmobiling 2 persons/snowmobile, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €980). Duration 2 h.
Return to the hotel and you might enjoy the nature on your own, take extra excursions or take a spa moment at the hotel. Dinner is served at the hotel.
29.12.2025 Monday | Farewell to the land of Santa Claus
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to the Rovaniemi airport. If your flight schedule allows, the visit in Santa Village could be add to the transfer with an extra cost. The Christmas Spirit is still on the air and stays for the lifetime…

Free cancellation is not possible after prepayment. We recommend that all participants have personal travel insurance valid for the entire duration of the trip, including cancellation coverage.
